63: Te Papa Museum
We went had brunch this morning and ate at the nearby delicatessen! Nothing like food to soothe the stomach. Then, Keri bought a few Footrot Flats book for his parents at the book store nearby.
We walked to Te Papa Museum, which was free admission entry! I'd definitely recommend the trip. The museum is the only one with the intact colossal squid specimen. It was really long like 4.5 meter long with soccer ball sized eyes!
We saw the cool history, British influence exhibits, and even the different generations of technology and items.
We also waited in line for the Gallipoli exhibit. The statues were done by Weta Workshop, so they were insanely good and realistic! It was interactive and very well done.
We went to the City Hall and Wellington Visitor Area and browsed around. We then headed for Korean food. Yum!
We're going for a nice tour and wandering around for our last day in Wellington tomorrow!
