3: Exhausted!
Oh boy, day three was a lot of walking!
I had a haircut in the morning with my favourite hairstylist in the world. I trust him with my hair. He looks so passionate when he starts cutting it. I have never found anyone in Canada with the same look or feel for hair cutting like he does. I always get it trimmed and straighten when I fly to Hong Kong.
Afterwards, Keri and I went to Sheung Wan to visit my Aunt Elsa and her kids. She was our tour guide for the afternoon/evening. We walked around and went into temples, saw ancient relics and historical things.
Then, we rode the tram to Central MTR stop so that Keri can ride a new mode of transit for the first time. We also took the MTR to Tsim Sha Tsui to the Science Museum. We spent several hours there learning about things in Hong Kong. They had a cool exhibit with partially transparent appliances so that you can see how things work.
We tried going to the history museum, but spent way too much time at the science one. We still have time to go back. :)
Then, we went to the Avenue of Stars. It was packed with people! We were there around 7pm, but people were already sitting for the 8pm "Symphony of Lights" show. (Really over hyped, but nice lasers!)
We headed back to a famous beef noodle soup restaurant! It was really delicious! But the portion sizes were small, but because we walked so much today, I had a small appetite anyways. We visited Western Market for dessert and then we headed home.
Pretty sure when I got home, I just laid down and not move for like 15 minutes. I totally was not prepared for the amount of unexpected walking for the day!
