23: Ingress & The Great Wave

Ingress leads us to many places. Our non-Ingress always asks why do you play Ingress or say they don't understand it. I can't really explain what motivates us to continue with this game. We just play it everyday, its like a lifestyle.

So, following the same plan as yesterday, we saw so many places like 5+ shrines, rural shopping districts, Tokyo Skytree, kitchen supply street, bookstore streets, sports equipment street, Ueno park, and much more. We went to areas that weren't normally visited by tourists and just felt like locals.

We finally finished a 66-mission adventure in Ingress. At first, I was going to give up. It was the most amount of walking I've done in a while. It spanned over three days, 15+ hours total (5 hours each) and lots of walking. We finished a mission artwork created by another agent that recreates The Great Wave off Kanagawa, by Katsushika Hokusai, on our agent profile. Its an incredible feat that other agents also spend time doing as well.

Now, we're going to head back home and treat ourselves to ramen nearby the house tonight!

Tomorrow, we may take it easy and head to the Tokyo tower. :)

PS. Most of the pictures below were Ueno Toshogu Shrine and the dark night time photo was of the Tokyo Skytree. The Ueno Park nearby, I'm pretty sure, is where people have picnics during the big sakura blossoming seasons. There's also a zoo nearby too.
