13: Left Hong Kong, summary.
Late late post... Got internet working..ish for Japan!
Day 13: Packing took longer than I thought. We had our stuff scattered everywhere, plus I was writing cards for my relatives. Keri wanted to give thanks to all my relatives that did stuff for us.
To be honest, we had a relaxing time in Hong Kong. My bank account wasn't screaming much cause I had some Hong Kong funds stashed away. Haha. And also we got the "local" tour from my relatives the whole time we were there.
My two aunts, uncle and grandmother had lunch with us before we left for the airport. We went to eat Shanghai food at a new restaurant called Shanghai Po Po. It was quite delicious!
My Aunt Pamela rode the bus with us to the airport. The bus almost felt like the TTC airport bus all over again. I don't like packing and leaving. Its sad, but I was excited to go to Japan. I still communicate with my aunt on WhatsApp while currently in Japan though.
We met up with Tiffany, said goodbye to my aunt and boarded our budget airline to Haneda Airport (on Hong Kong Express for 7:15pm departure)!
But overall, if you're planning on going shopping, visit Sham Shui Po or Mong Kok (which we didn't visit unfortunately). Lots of wholesale stores so everywhere was cheap. Its a hike from where we were living; you'd have to take the MTR for sure.
If you want to visit The Peak, definitely save your money from going on the Peak 360 building. The nature walk around the peak was much more worth it and free! Just make sure to bring your big spray and stuff.
