10: Stanley & Hot Pot
Today seems like a nice day!
We went to a Hong Kong style breakfast restaurant with my cousin today and ate with my relatives. I noticed Hong Kong people eat pretty big breakfasts with all the macaroni and vermicelli.
Afterwards, we went to my Aunt Jenny's and I discovered that she also like collecting stamps like Keri's mom as well. She had several mint condition stuff and didn't mind giving them away to us! Oh my goodness! Those are worth a bit!
We went to Stanley afterwards with my Aunt and Uncle via driving and did a quick walk through the area. We walked through the market, pier and historical areas of Stanley. Also had free ice cream cone from Kowloon Dairy, advertising for their new flavour, cookies and cream. To be honest, it was so hot and damp, I was just glad to have something cold to eat.
We went back to have a quick late lunch with my Aunt Elsa and went to Aberdeen for dinner.
Most of my relatives were gathered together for hotpot. It was a nice communal dinner with two pots running at a time over two electric stoves. It was such a good time, had lots of different food! Afterwards, the kids were crazy with fruits. I had a pan of grapes and some of them tried to climb me! I played rock paper scissors with them. Of course, I wouldn't let them win that easily.
Afterwards, we played bingo and someone opened up a can of glow sticks. The kids went ballistic! They cracked them all and it basically felt like a rave. Insane kids just yelling and glow sticks waving everywhere. What a sight. And since its mid-autumn festival tomorrow..
Time for round two!
