Journal: Holiday markets & projects!

Since coming back home, I've made several plans. I wanted to see a few holiday markets, get some groceries, buy some LED "Christmas" lights for my room, see our friends and several other chores. A few days ago, we looked around the Toronto's Union Station Holiday Market to look at cool vendors and unique projects that they had. Look at this nice skyline view from the Union Station? It was such a nice day, no rain and clouds!

We went by the CBC Charity Craft Sale and saw one of the florist's booth that I've been keeping an eye on since last year. The florist, Mika Sato, has some really interesting designs and I always love checking out her stuff! I ended up choosing a really cool upside down lightbulb shaped terrarium. I thought it was cool that there was enough space to put a few more of my seashells that I picked up from the beaches on my trip. It'll be a project, as I still have to fully clean the shells as they still smell like the beaches!

Here's the project so far. It only has the one main seashell in there, I still have several underneath it to put in!

Among the list of chores to do, I ended up rummaging through my clothes and swapped my summer and winter season clothing. I sorted out a stash of items that I don't wear anymore. It would be the second or third time I'm gathering stuff to donate to the local Value Village. I also donated a dress to the Prom Blitz Project. I thought instead of donating to Value Village, I wanted to make sure it made someone's prom night amazing.

We also got some LED "Christmas" lights for the room. It could be for festive reasons, but I just wanted a different sense of lighting. It's nice to change it up once in a while and see things from a different perspective, red!

Several things planned still, seeing friends, work shifts, concerts, and holiday dinners.
Lots to do in the next few days!
