-11: Dance, sing, frolic!
On Thursday, I attended a concert at the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE). Tokyo Police Club was playing there and it is included in the admission cost! Apart from the concerts, you may think it is silly, but my favourite part of the CNE is definitely the free express shuttle train ride. I love seeing it go around the buildings looping around and waiting for passengers to board and get off.
It is kind of addicting, letting the crowd carry you through their dance moves, seeing hands wave back and forth and people's head bobbing. Gathered by a common interest (the band), fans gather far and wide to attend a concert. And whether or not you can sing well or horribly, I cannot help but smile. Fans fuel the band; when their fans know every single word down to the composed chords of their songs, it is awesome!
And you know what the best part is? When the band goes quiet and gets the crowd to sing a part and it slightly gets me teary eyed, every time. I love hearing the music playing from the speakers loud enough that you can feel the vibrations in your chest and dance to the music as if no one is watching.
All I ask is that you have a good time with me.I love everything about dancing, singing, and listening to music. I love turning the music up loud and singing and dancing to the songs. Dancing alone or with friends, I will not be judging your moves. I cannot dance either! I guess that is why I love going to concerts. You can be silly and have a great time!
Let's dance, sing, and frolic!

To be honest, I never expected that I would be the person to go to live concerts, I remember back when I would watch anime, stay at home, listen to music, and just play video games. What happened to those boring days? I do not think I miss those days at all. I think I have definitely changed for the good. Look for me. I will be that person dancing as if no one is watching, singing the lyrics to the song and bouncing up and down to the beats from the speakers.
This trip will not be about me reminiscing on old cherished memories or thinking about being my old self. I will be learning and appreciating life without any attachments and regrets and looking for myself. Do not expect the same Carol coming back from the trip!
Arrivederci! ✈
PS. Leaving some concert photos and a picture of an Alpaca that found snacks. :)
